If you are giving a talk about SWVG, here are some resources:
- Brief tips on giving talks.
- If you want a Powerpoint, please use SWVG’s PowerPoint template so we present a professional consistent image.
- This gives lots of raw material. Take from it whatever you need for your audience. Some of the content needs updating (eg numbers from different countries) – if you find updated figures for any of it, please share them with website@swvg-refugees.org.uk so we can update it.
- Our website has stories of people SWVG volunteers have worked with. Some are a few years old but may still be useful.
- SWVG newsletters have useful stories about people’s experiences and SWVG’s work.
- If you’d like photos of people who use our services, eg for PowerPoints, ask the Comms Group. They store each photo with permissions and expiry date, so you can be certain that you are allowed to use it.
- Films and videos from other organisations that might be useful to show
- Novels, poetry, podcasts recommended by people from SWVG
