The Grant Fundraising Group is a crucial group in SWVG. Members of the group write applications to trust funds for grants and explore other ways to raise funds through donations.
The Grant Fundraising Group works closely with the Events Group(s) which organise events such as talks and concerts to raise funds.
The current members are:

- Sue Turner (joint convenor)
- Andrew White
- and Stefan Lipa advises the group
Researching possibilities and writing bids is time-consuming. SWVG members who feel they could undertake such a task would be very welcome to join the Fundraising Group.
The group meets when needed, usually in Winchester.
