The AGM is on 2nd November at 6:30 to 9pm, Avenue St Andrew’s URC, SO17 1XQ (Please note earlier start than usual)
We are privileged to start the evening with a talk from Professor Bridget Anderson, founding director of the Migrant Futures Institute at Goldsmiths, University of London. The title of her talk is: Making Connections: Beyond labels and towards solidarity. Bridget will explore how ideas about refugees, migrants and asylum seekers connect to wider questions of justice, vulnerability, protection and belonging, and will invite us to reflect on these issues.
Food and refreshments will be offered in the break, and the business of the AGM will follow in the second half.
Do please join us for an interesting evening. The AGM needs engagement from our members!
