Southampton is putting on an arts and culture festival in June for Refugee Week: everyone welcome!
The main event is Saturday 22nd June. There will be a Carnival Parade, starting at Above Bar at 1pm, led by the Lord Mayor of Southampton, followed by a Community Picnic in Palmerston Park from 2-5pm, with food, games, music and dance from many different cultures.
There will also be film screenings + Q&A with Southampton-based World Stages Now on 19th June, and a poetic drama performance on 17th June.
